Airports

The closest airports are Nice Cote díAzur, France or Genoa (Genova), Italy. Once you arrive there are regular shuttle buses to the train station, which will take you to San Remo and onwards to Baiardo.

Nice Cote díAzur Airport

There is transportation using shuttle buses from the airport to the train station. The shuttle buses and trains run regularly and are simple to use. Take a shuttle bus, which takes about 20 minutes to the Nice Ville train station and a train to San Remo. Please visit www.trenitalia.it for train times.

Genoa (Genova) Airport

San Remo

San Remo is a beautiful seaside city and famous along the Italian Riveria. When you arrive at the train station in San Remo it is 10 minutes to Piazza Columbo bus station. There are regular buses directly to Baiardo with the last bus leaving at 6:40 p.m. It is easy to take the bus to and from San Remo with a journey time of 45 minutes and scenic views of the mountains and coast to enjoy along the way.

It is well worth planning time into your vacation for a visit to San Remo. The Old Town is full of history and character and you can catch the morning market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There is excellent shopping all over San Remo so be sure to take a stroll. The city is littered with charming cafes and restaurants throughout as well as along the seaside. Try Melody Cafe where they add a dusting of a cocoa heart to your drink. Italy is home to pizza and you canít leave without trying one! Spaccanapoli on Via Helsinore is famous for their pizza but be sure to go early as they are always busy. If you are looking for a leisurely lunch along the seaside you wonít be short of choice. Italy is also known for it s homemade gelato so it is good excuse to indulge in a scoop or two from Lollipop in Piazza Colombo where the bus station is located. Baiardo
